Lighthouse children's holidays (formerly known as Tockington) are part of Ventures and are run every summer just south of Swindon (in the village of Bourton, near the town of Shrivenham, see map). There are two holidays, a four night taster venture (for anyone, but especially those who have never been away from home before) and a full week's venture for those who are happier to be away for a little longer. The aim of both ventures is to have great fun in a safe environment whilst learning more about God. Each day is filled with fun-packed activities and there are morning small groups and evening celebrations in which we study the bible and see how it affects us.
There are activities to suit all tastes; we have sport, dance, drama, music, craft, games, a swimming pool, competitions, prizes and much, much more.
