Lighthouse is led by a team drawn from churches across the country. All the leaders are required to complete enhanced disclosures from the Criminal Records Bureau, and we take up two personal references for each new leader, including one from their church leader. All the leaders are actively involved in their local church, many are involved week by week with youth and children's ministry. The holiday is run under the auspices of Ventures, part of the work of CPAS. The current overall leaders have been working on ventures since 1991, and have been involved in senior leadership since 1995. Lighthouse is run as a non-denominational holiday reflecting an evangelical Christian ethos.

Gareth and Becky Davies are church children's workers, currently working for the parish of Great Chesham in Buckinghamshire.
Tim Davis works in finance, and is a member of Christ Church, New Malden in Surrey.
Jon Prior is an Anglican minister, currently Assistant Curate at St Peter's Church, Elworth, in the Diocese of Chester.
Marcia Wadham works for the Christian publisher, CWR. She is a member of Newbury Baptist Church.
