Welcome to Pinewood School, in Bourton, near Swindon!
This fantastic site is the home of Lighthouse Ventures. The full venture runs for 7 nights (in 2010 these were Saturday 7 August to Saturday 14 August). If you will be aged 9 to 12 in the summer of 2011 (that is, if you will have just finished any of school years 4 to 7), you could be joining us! The full cost of Lighthouse: Bourton in 2010 was £190; if that sounds prohibitive, there is a central ventures subsidy fund (see here) and many churches will make a contribution to enable their young members to attend a venture. More information about the 2011 season will appear on this website as it becomes available.
We've got loads of fun activities to choose from - you can enjoy:

We've also got an outdoor swimming pool, with qualified life-guards and a chance to enjoy a serious swim or just a splash about nearly every single day! We'll go on a night hike (well, it's more like a gentle stroll) and meet all together every evening for our main Lighthouse meeting. Here you'll find singing, sketches, stories, activities (including even more games!) and loads of fun whilst we learn about Jesus and what he means for us today.
